Santosh Bs

A nature traveler, trekker, wildlifer, photographer and a budding naturalist. Mix all of them and you get ‘me’. I love to travel in the wild and use my camera wherever I go. I blog to share the joy, the information and help others travel, its fun sharing.

I’m a traveler at heart and still enjoy traveling at the knock of an opportunity. The blog kicked off with the intent to showcase and share some of my travel experiences from the past that I could recollect. As I hit the ‘block’ after sometime not knowing what to write, the weekends were the most awaited for any travel opportunities just to write an article, such is the craze.

Before I could even realize, more than a couple of years have passed by and the blog is been fed regularly with my travel and nature articles and quite a few people have taken a liking to it and are asking for more. Slowly and steadily, all travels now have an element of photography in them and that has helped me in exploring a lot of new places and as time lapsed by, my interest in nature in general and wildlife in particular grew leaps and bounds and that is now very relevant to the articles I blog about, showcasing the splendor of nature and travel tales together.

You can work pretty much where you want to – on the road, do you find it hard to work or do you just have fun and work when you come back home?

It's all up to you to create that balance. Some moments are shared instantaneously and some relived after coming back home. Connectivity may not be that great and depends upon where you go but I prefer to have fun on the go and then work when back home.

Do you feel many people are envious of your lifestyle?

Yes to an extent and every travel adds up a few more sombre faces. 'How do you get so many leaves' and 'You're enjoying your life' are the most common comments that I face.

In which countries have people recognised you, even when you thought nobody would?

I travel mostly in India and with the advancement of Facebook and other networking sites, everywhere I go, one or the other person recognizes me can be a traveler, trekker or a photographer. :-)

Which three items would you never travel without?

Backpack, camera, a pair of clothes.

Are there any specific souvenirs or other things you collect from the places you go to?

I try not to leave any traces of my travel and being more of a 'nature traveler', its not the case with me.
