Stuart Cooper

Olo, I am Stu, a long time early adopter of the interwebs and digital tech with the goal of avoiding working 9 to 5 for some management type corporate person.

I build websites for moolah, take photo’s for inspiration and generally believe there is more to life than working for a living.

I like beer, shooting the shit and my couch. Which is not coming with me unfortunately.

You can work pretty much where you want to – on the road, do you find it hard to work or do you just have fun and work when you come back home?

Yea, it's always hard to stop having a blast while on the road and knuckle down to do some blogging. I often just add photo-stories when I am feeling super lazy. I'm constantly on the road, so I often don't have the choice but to do updates whilst I'm travelling.

Do you feel many people are envious of your lifestyle?

Just about everybody I meet. When I explain my trip the most common response is "You're living the dream".

In which countries have people recognised you, even when you thought nobody would?

I am travelling in my own country so more often than not I run into and meet friends I've known for years or have met on my travels.

Which three items would you never travel without?

Camera, my mind and 5 litres of water.

Are there any specific souvenirs or other things you collect from the places you go to?

Memories, stones and anything that catches my eye. I have a bag full of stones, shells, bits of drift wood and such.
